7 Of Our Physicality Road Blocks
7 Of Our Physicality Road Blocks
I believe that confidence is our attitude to circumstances and empowers us to act, and action causes change.
But often we are robbed of our confidence by inhibiting physicality beliefs? Although women are particularly affected by negative self-talk it is not exclusive to us but we move through these physicality road blocks into the light of new opportunities.
There are 2 clear paths to physical wellness and the direct route addresses the issue head on e.g. getting a physical regime in place partnered with a suitable dietary plan and then there is the mental wellbeing approach that begins by looking at the way our minds are contributing to our inhibiting beliefs, but the paths are mostly interwoven, and our experts can help you navigate the intricacies of both, dispelling myths along the way, working at your pace and paying particular attention to your sensitivity levels and tolerances.
There is no need to elaborate on the numerous common and obscure roadblocks so let’s look at some real-life scenarios that are holding us back.
1. You can offer your business so much more but if you do you may get noticed and they might hate your body as much as you do so you decide it is not worth the risk, you are happy enough to stay put.
2. The job opportunity you have been waiting for has come up, but you are going through menopause and what if you have a hot flush during the interview or get that rash around your neck that spreads up to your face so you decide you will wait for the next opportunity.
3. You really want to do that delivery job and you know you are fit enough but you look overweight and there is no way they are going to believe that you can be on the go for hours without breaking a sweat, so you decide to work on some weight loss and then maybe give it a try.
4. There is a promotion going at work and you know you have got what they need but you are quite sure everyone sees you as being too timid and weak to manage a team so what is the point, and you decide there is no point, and you carry on.
5. You wear a mask at work to fit in, to hide that you are naturally quite effeminate in the way you act and its starting to take its toll on you so maybe you just need to quit and find somewhere else where you can be who you want to be.
6. There is a group of you at work that want to get fit, but you only have a 30-minute lunch break and do not know what you can do in that time, so you talk about it a lot and do a lot of nothing.
7. You have been on maternity leave and soon you will be going back to work, but you know your body does not look the same and that is bothering you, but you do not know what to do about it, so you just worry about it.
Now, take a moment to think about all the hurdles life puts in your path and that you have overcome to get where you are today and then think about the ones you are putting there yourself like the ones I have just described. Frankly, you do not need the extra baggage so let us help you find freedom and new beginnings.
