INDEPENDENT WORKPLACE SUPPORT FOR EMPLOYEES

Workplace issues can be difficult to navigate, particularly when the matter involves performance, conduct, a workplace concern or another employment issue.

Ripple Employee Support provides independent, practical HR support to employees — helping you understand what has been raised, consider your options, prepare your response and, where appropriate, support you through the process.

An initial consultation allows us to discuss your circumstances, understand your concerns and assess whether Ripple is the right fit to provide support.

The initial consultation fee is $150 + GST ($172.50 including GST), payable in advance.

If we agree to proceed with your matter, there will be no further professional fees for the support services we agree to provide. Additional travel costs will apply where you request in-person support at a location requiring travel.

How We Support You

Every workplace situation is different. Our support starts with understanding what has happened, what you have received from your employer and what you want to achieve.

Understand the situation

Where an employment matter has been raised by your employer, we will discuss the circumstances with you, review relevant correspondence and documentation, and listen to your perspective.

We will help you understand what is being raised, identify the key facts and clarify any areas that need further consideration.

Understand your options

We will talk through the options available to you and the potential pathway for each.

Our role is to provide factual and procedural guidance so you can make an informed decision about how you want to proceed. The decision remains yours.

Prepare your response

Once you have chosen your preferred pathway, we can help you prepare for it.

This may include:

  • Preparing or reviewing correspondence

  • Structuring your response to your employer

  • Preparing questions or discussion points

  • Reviewing supporting information and documentation

  • Preparing you for a meeting or formal process

  • Helping you understand what to expect at each stage

Depending on the circumstances and the pathway you choose, we can provide ongoing support throughout the matter.

This may include:

  • Attending meetings with you as your support person

  • Helping you respond clearly and factually

  • Taking notes of key discussion points, questions, responses and agreed actions

  • Providing procedural guidance

  • Helping you understand what has been discussed and agreed

  • Debriefing with you after meetings and discussing procedural next steps

If you are raising a concern

Employee Support isn't limited to matters raised by your employer.

If you need to raise a concern or employment matter yourself, we can help you understand the situation, structure your concerns, prepare your correspondence and determine how you want to approach your employer.

Where appropriate, we can also attend meetings with you and provide procedural support throughout the process.

Who is this for?

Ripple Employee Support may be appropriate if you are dealing with:

  • Performance or conduct concerns raised by your employer

  • A workplace concern or employment issue

  • A formal employment process

  • A concern you need to raise with your employer

  • A workplace situation where you would benefit from independent HR support

You don't need to navigate a difficult workplace situation on your own.

Our role

Our role is to provide factual, procedural and organisational support.

We are not acting as your lawyer and we do not provide legal advice or legal advocacy.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, responses and any position you choose to put forward.

Where legal advice is required, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified legal professional.

About This Service

Ripple's usual HR work is provided to businesses. Employee Support is different.

For this service, we are supporting you as the employee.

The purpose is not to speak over you or make decisions for you. It is to help you understand the process, consider your options, prepare properly and participate in the conversation or process with clarity and confidence.

Employee Support is offered at Ripple’s discretion and subject to our capacity to assist. The initial consultation helps us understand your circumstances and assess whether the support we offer is appropriate for your situation.

We reserve the right to decline a matter that falls outside our expertise or is not aligned with the purpose of this service. Where we are unable to assist, we will let you know and, where possible, suggest another appropriate avenue of support.

We will consider the circumstances of each request and whether the support we provide is appropriate to the situation.

Where we are unable to assist, we will let you know and, where possible, suggest another appropriate avenue of support.

Fees & Arranging Support

We believe employees should be able to access experienced, practical HR support when navigating difficult workplace situations.

If we agree to proceed, there are no further professional fees for the support services we agree to provide. Where you request in-person support requiring travel, additional travel costs will apply. These will be discussed and agreed with you in advance.
