“An interview is not something most of us do often, so confidence rarely comes from experience alone. It comes from knowing what to expect, understanding how to respond and having the opportunity to practise.”
Interview Coaching
Your experience got you the interview. Now let's make sure you make the most of it.
Getting an interview is an opportunity. Knowing how to communicate your experience, answer questions confidently and show the value you can bring can make all the difference.
At Ripple Recruitment, Interview Coaching gives you practical, one-to-one support to prepare for your interview and present yourself with confidence.
Whether you're returning to work, moving into a new role, stepping up into a more senior position or simply want to feel more prepared, we'll help you understand what interviewers are looking for, develop stronger answers and practise communicating your experience effectively.
What is Interview Coaching?
An interview isn't just about having the right experience — it's about being able to communicate it.
Interview Coaching gives you the opportunity to step away from the pressure of the actual interview and work through how you will approach it.
We'll look at the role you're applying for, consider what the employer is likely to want to know, and identify the experiences, strengths and achievements you need to bring into the conversation.
We'll also practise your responses so you can become more comfortable answering questions without sounding rehearsed.
The goal isn't to give you scripted answers. It's to help you understand what you want to say, how to say it and how to communicate your value with confidence.

Your Interview Coaching Journey
Interview Coaching is a structured one-to-one session designed around the role you're applying for and the areas where you need the most support.
01 — PREPARE
Understand the opportunity — before your session, you'll provide the job advertisement or role details and complete some focused preparation questions.
We'll look at the role, identify what the employer is likely to be looking for and consider which parts of your experience are most relevant.
You'll gain a clearer understanding of what you need to communicate during the interview.
02 — POSITION
Know what you bring — we'll identify the strengths, experience, achievements and examples that demonstrate your suitability for the role.
We'll work on how to talk about your experience in a way that is relevant to the employer — rather than simply repeating what's already on your CV.
03 — PRACTISE
Build your confidence — we'll work through interview questions relevant to the role, including common, behavioural and competency-based questions.
You'll have the opportunity to practise answering questions and receive constructive feedback on your responses, communication and approach.
The aim isn't to memorise perfect answers. It's to become more comfortable thinking on your feet and communicating naturally.
04 — PERFORM
Take your preparation into the interview — we'll identify any areas that still need attention and make sure you have practical strategies for managing the interview itself.
That might include handling difficult questions, explaining gaps or career changes, discussing salary expectations, asking your own questions or dealing with nerves.
Before your session
To make the most of your coaching session, you'll be asked to provide the job advertisement or role description and complete some preparation content.
This allows us to focus your session on the actual opportunity you're pursuing, rather than generic interview advice.
What happens during your session?
Your coaching session is practical and interactive. We'll discuss the role, identify what you need to communicate, work through questions and practise your responses.
You'll receive honest, constructive feedback from a recruitment professional who understands what employers and hiring managers are looking for.
Your next interview is an opportunity
You can't control every question an interviewer will ask.
But you can control how prepared you are, how well you understand your own value and how confidently you communicate it.
Don't just hope you're ready. Prepare for it.
